Log on to https://ltportalug.newindia.co.in with your user ID and password (If user ID and password is not available then, first register yourself).
On the Landing page you will see My Policies tab.
Under policies Tab, click on Link My Policies.
Enter Policy number and the Customer ID (policy holder code).
On submitting, your policy(s) will be linked.
Click on My Policy Tab, where you can see the linked policy(s).
Next to the policy number on the right hand side, the icon of an eye is available under Action to view the policy details.
On the Policy Details page, along with the basic policy information, the policy documents should be displayed which can then be downloaded by clicking on the hyperlink of the PDFs.

Register yourself on the portal. (If already registered, then you may sign in to the portal) Click on the Hexagon Shaped Product Category which you wish to buy Click on Buy Online option Select the radio button of the desired Product to proceed further.
Porting of Health Policy is not available online, Please contact the nearest The New India Assurance office. For porting of Motor policies, please follow the below steps.
- Register on https://ltportalug.newindia.co.in under Customer Login.
- Select Motor in Hexagon shaped Product Category.
- Click on Buy Online option.
- Thereafter, you may click on your required Product radio button (i.e. Private Car/ Two Wheeler).
- Please select the Radio button Renew existing policy from any insurer.
- After filling in all the details, click on save and continue button and you will be redirected to the additional information page. Once all the details are filled, and submitted, you will be forwarded to the payment page.
- The premium details will be displayed on the payment screen.
- On making the payment, the policy details summary page will be displayed (with details of the new policy number, premium amount) and policy documents link (PDF).
- Policy Documents can then be downloaded.
Register on https://ltportalug.newindia.co.in via Customer Login Option Please Login after successful registration and please change your password. Under policies Tab, click on Link My Policies. Enter Policy number and the Customer ID (policy holder code). On submitting, your policy(s) will be linked. Once the policy is linked, please click on Policy tab and against the policy number "Renew" button is enabled under Action. Click on renew button to generate the quote and proceed with the payment for the policy to be renewed. Once the payment is done, policy number will be generated (summer page with details of the policy number and policy document)
You can renew your policy online through Quick Renewal functionality which is available on the home page of our website: https://ltportalug.newindia.co.in (before login) under the heading Quick Help with the following details:
Renewed Quote number (16 digits renewed proposal) & Customer ID which is your policy holder code mentioned on your policy document.
Go to NIA Customer Mobile App.
Click on Menu.
Login To your Online Account with the help of the Login ID and Password. (If not registered, then please register first).
Click on My Policy Option.
After which you need to link your policy manually with the help of Policy Number and Customer ID, by clicking on Link My Policy option present at the bottom of the screen.
Once the policy is linked, you can view it under My Policies option, select the policy number as desired.
List of Documents as PDF Links would be visible on screen for you to download.
Password can be reset using Forgot Password functionality.

Yes, Using your Debit card/Credit Card or Internet banking you can pay the premium. All types of VISA, Master Card are accepted.

- Go to https://ltportalug.newindia.co.in
- Click on Customer Login Option, after which you need to register on
- Please Login, after successful registration
- Under My Grievance Tab, click on initiate a Grievance.
- After which fill in all the necessary details.
For policy number, please contact NIA office.
For policy details, please contact NIA office.
Policies issued through Maruti dealer cannot be renewed online . (Office code - 980000). Please contact nearest maruti dealer for renewal or contact the NIA office for renewal.
Please visit NIA office (to which you are tagged) and there please meet APEP manager and ask him to put a request for agent portal.
Then respective APEP manager will send the approvals to HO-APEP Dept. After receiving the Approval the user id will be created and shared with APEP manager.
For Motor Policy - Regarding the change of address, it can be affected only if the address is changed in your RC book. If you have already changed the address in your RC book to the new address, please send a copy of the updated RC along with the original certificate to NIA office. NIA shall return a fresh certificate and no fee is charged for the same.
For Other Products Change in address is not possible online. It can be done by writing to the branch office on nia.xxxxxx@newindia.co.in(x stands for 1st 6 digit of your policy number and mark a copy to bssxx@newindia.co.in(x stands for 1st 2 digit of your policy number).
